Brief review of comprehensive mathematical model of vehicle is presented; capabilities of model have been made easily accessible to design and development engineer by implementation on remote console computer time-sharing system; joint test-calculation investigation into development of useful handling criteria and design analysis of vehicle handling behavior is briefly discussed; as result of this investigation, criteria were developed by which vehicle performance can be evaluated; application of mathematical model and these criteria to improve handling characteristics of "problem vehicle " are demonstrated "on-line" using remote console.
