Idealization of system; material used originates from many sources and includes results of research and design experience at Advanced School of Automobile Engineering, Cranfield; model is developed by means of which it is possible to assess structure of crankshaft or vibration amplitudes and stresses; model has sufficient point inertias to represent individual cylinders and main rotors of system; several simplified models are demonstrated.
