While cars are very similar to those on two of lines of Paris Metro, they were completely re-engineered by Canadian Vickers Industries for Montreal contract according to which 369 passenger cars and five work-car units are due for completion Apr 1 1967; structure of car body is principally of light-gage medium carbon steel, covered with steel skin; fabrication of truck frames and other components; final body assembly.
