Using normalized coordinates, equations governing inviscid, isentropic expansions of perfect gases through convergent-divergent nozzles can be solved as inverse power expansions in normalized throat wall radius of curvature; solution for complete nozzle flowfield is obtained in form of perturbation about one-dimensional flowfield; first- and second-order corrections have been worked out; solutions are obtained for choked and unchoked nozzle flows as well as for multistream nozzle expansion such as characteristically occurs in barrier cooled rocket engine.
