At pressure differences from 10 to 14 in of mercury and at speeds over 2000 rpm power requirements are practically same; because Powerplus supercharger cannot be operated at speed greater than 3000 rpm as compared with 7000 rpm for Roots, its capacity is approximately one-half that of Roots for same bulk.
