With superheated steam available at various points on plants railway, fireless steam locomotives were put into operation at Huntley and Palmers plant in Reading; engines of 0-4-0-type switching locomotive built by W. C. Bagnall; gage 4 ft 8 1/2 in.; wheelbase 5 ft 6 in.; cyl 18 1/2 in. stroke; charging pressure 250 lb per sq in. at temperature of 500 F.
