System where signaling current is supplied at frequency considerably higher than frequency of propulsion current is satisfactory at locations where special signaling current is readily available, but cannot be used at more remote locations without undue expense; in such cases, Swedish State Railways employ d-c primary-battery track circuits; diagram and analysis.
