In Munich, street-railroad authorities have adopted system of trolley-wire suspension whereby in main streets all poles have been eliminated and rosettes used on buildings, and where poles are necessary elsewhere only half number are employed; it was decided to equip, along similar lines, length of railway route in Metropolitan area of London.
