Conversion of double track to single main track with centralized traffic control on Dixie Line between Corbin and Loyall, Ky; 11 mi of second track was left in place for seven sidings having full complement of controlled signals and power switches; another 8 mi was retained for various industry spurs, and equipped with hand throw switches and electric locks; spacing between passing sidings ranges from 4 to 14 mi.
