New method of hull construction at Kawasaki Dockyard Co involves shifting stern block to adjacent building berth where fitting out of stern is continued simultaneously with work on remainder of hull, engines, etc; objective is to cut short fitting out on launched ship moored to wharfside, also to do away with docking; tables and diagrams.
