System in effect in New Haven, Conn, incorporating individual control of signalized street intersections by emergency equipment in order to avoid accidents and speed up travel of police and fire apparatus; each emergency vehicle carries its own transmitting equipment capable of sending signals to radio receivers at intersections; receivers take control of signal light and lock light on "red" until vehicle has passed through intersection.
