Concepts concerning state of Moon are reviewed and utilization of extraterrestrial resources is examined, based on work done at Marshall Space Flight Center (MFSC) in Huntsville, Ala, and sponsored by NASA Headquarters; possible propellant substances indigenous to Moon are considered, modes of concentration of lunar propellant substances are discussed and lunar environment in relation to engineering and mining operation is examined.
