Power-operated gangways supplied by Babcock and Wilcox Ltd to serve liners at Hong Kong Ocean Terminal are described; gangways are mounted on trolleys which run on rails laid along quay superstructure and can be swiveled and luffed to bring them into position on ship's coaming; when in position, gangway is attached to ship by special hook and is free to rise and fall with ship; hydraulic control system and features of trolley are outlined.
