New system for Munich Central Station, having 36 tracks on which about 1000 scheduled train movements and about 5000 shunt movements are to be controlled daily, is based in SpDr 60 (Spoorplan geographic circuitry) all-relay interlocking technique; modular construction is used, so that equipment is easily applicable to all types of German Federal Railways Stations; centralized traffic control is implemented through four control panels.
