Description of three rocket engines; two are developed for use in satellite launcher, while third is Gamma Mk 304 rocket engine on which designs of two new engines are based; Gamma Mk 304 engine has four combustion chambers individually mounted on trunnions so that they may be swiveled for control about axes which are radial to axis of vehicle; they are fed with HTP and kerosene by single turbopump unit and give total thrust of 25,000 lb at sea level; features and components of Gamma type 8 rocket engine (BS 606) which is two Gamma Mk 304 engines re-engineered to suit satellite launcher; Gamma type 2 rocket engine (BS 625) has two combustion chambers based on those in Gamma Mk 304 engine.
