Greater stability in orbit than manned spacecraft and return of experiments from orbit to laboratory within 4 hr are two operational targets for Biosatellite mission which involves study of effects of weightlessness on biological organisms; present satellite consists of re-entry vehicle containing experiments and adapter with support equipment for orbital operation; description of Biosatellite telemetry, tracking and command subsystem; recovery phase is also described.
