After orbit is reached subsatellite is slowly ejected which is connected to main body by string; spacings up to 10 km could be obtained in this way; experiments which are possible with trailer satellite include observations in spacing between main body and trailer; second class of possible observations are concerned with measurement of gradients; other experiments could include determination of relative drag force and of field directions.
