Series of varying wax models for each ship was used in tests; program covered evaluation of resistance coefficients and plotting according to Hughes' analysis of all known Geosim Series; propulsion tests for three propeller loads, measurement of nominal wake distribution at four speeds and propeller open water tests, for two different propellers at four propeller speeds; trial trip results for actual vessels are discussed. Before joint meeting with Schiffbautechnische Gesellschaft, eV. and Instn Engrs and Shipbldrs in Scotland, 1965.
