Reheat plant which features uni-directional steam turbine driving controllable pitch propeller has been proposed by A/B Karlstads Mekaniska Werkstad (KaMeWa); article is based on report of study made by KaMeWa, in collaboration with New York consultants J.J.Henry Co Inc, considering KaMeWa controllable pitch propeller for 26,500 shp steam turbine tanker; table shows particulars of plant, and some arrangement diagrams are included; comparisons with conventional plant and reheat with fixed pitch propellers are also noted.
