Hay and Smart (Projects) Ltd of Liverpool, have proposed vessel that separates into units of propulsion machinery, bow and cargo, latter itself being divisible if required; designers call vessel Multipacket, and have obtained Ministry of Transport support to extent that such ship would be approved for International Load Line Certificate; for purpose of test, model, representing 205-ft coaster, was divided into five parts -- propulsive aft section, three cargo units and bow; size of ship considered is up to maximum of 350 ft long, and with dw of 7000 tons, or capacity of 300,000 cu ft.
