New tie unloading machine and converted gondola type cars used on Central of Georgia; unloader, developed by Railway Maintenance Corp, Pittsburgh, travels on four small flanged wheels on rails running length of cars, and crosses from one car to another on removable connecting rails; ties are expelled from either side of cars, which are adapted from 40 ft flat cars and fitted with welded steel sides.
