Thornycroft and Co; length oa 144 ft; breadth 40 ft; depth molded to passenger deck 14 ft 10 1/2 in.; propulsion by means of two chain sprocket wheels, each 7 ft 3 in. diam, one on each side of hull; main engine is of horizontal compound double-acting surface-condensing type.
