Comparison of marine-turbine and Diesel-engine performance; cost of fuel; cost and weight of machinery; it is concluded that the larger the size of turbine plant the more nearly its fuel economy approaches that of Diesel engine, but no turbine plant yet built will equal Diesel-engine economy.
