Flexibility in overhead construction to dampen out vibration and to reduce trolley pole tension and resultant wear is condition to be desired; in Germany special study has been made of overhead construction for use by trolley buses which are becoming increasingly popular; illustrations give some idea as to construction of flexible type of overhead recently developed in United States.
