Letter to editor discussing article by L. CAMMEN indexed in Engineering Index 1932 p 1360 from Aug 1932 issue of same journal and comments thereon in October issue; it is claimed super-highways will not help taxpayer even if those for trucks are private toll roads; with good will it should be possible to coordinate railroad, trucking and highway transportation without shifting cost of that industry almost entirely on to taxpayers.
