Formulas are derived for calculation of number of conflict points for certain kinds of intersections which comply with some conditions simplifying calculations; intersections of n approaches (legs), which contain equal number of `p' of traffic lanes, and carrying two-way traffic are dealt with; intersection is represented by ` schematic polygon', where corner of polygon represents end of approach, and each diagonal, including bases of polygon, represents trajectory of set of `p' traffic lanes connecting different legs of intersection.
