Studies were conducted in research rocket motor burning premixed gases as propellants and effects of combustion chamber length, propellant equivalence ratio, mean chamber pressure and shape of nozzle upon longitudinal-mode pressure oscillations were examined; three modes of longitudinal pressure oscillations, namely, fundamental-, second harmonic- and third harmonic-mode oscillations were observed in combustion chamber and measured periods of each mode oscillation were found to satisfy relation of acousticmode oscillations; other findings.
