Based on estimate of probable future development of European space activities requirements for European aerospace transporter have been defined; analysis of American proposals for similar systems indicates that for expected mission (3 ton payload into near-earth orbit) systems with two parallel winged stages will represent most likely solution; for propulsion, oxygen-hydrogen rocket motors are preferred; first stage may possibly have partly air-breathing engines; aerospace transporter concept is presented.
