Development history of family of single- and two-stage sounding rockets being flight-tested by Canadian Bristol Aerojet of Winnipeg; description of three types and their versions -- Black Brant III, capable of launching 40 lb payload to height of 110 mi; Black Brant IV, two-stage rocket carrying 40 lb to 600 mi; Black Brant V, large single-stage vehicle to carry 150 lb to height of more than 200 mi; Canadian Bristol Aerojet propellant plant at Rockwood has made over 200 static firings for qualification, and three motors, 9KS11000, 15KS25000 and 15KS1000 Jato unit, have been fully qualified; list of Black Brant III firings.
