To determine differences in vibrational performance of cross-biased and radial tires, types of vibration present in running car, for which tires are responsible, were surveyed; referring to two tires, one radial and one crossed-biased of same size, values assumed by various parameters and vertical complex transfer functions are presented, including, frequency spectra of oscillations of two different cars tested on same road, alternately equipped with both types of tires; frequency spectra emphasized differences between tires, and demonstrated existence of tire-vehicle interactions which are dependent on structure of vehicle itself.
