Conceptual design of manned orbital inspection system presented provides for close inspection of target satellite while still allowing crew to remain safe distance from potentially hostile satellite; concept includes means of destroying target satellite if it is determined to be hostile; command module of system is re-entry body, capable of returning crew to selected landing site and landing in manner of high performance airplane; Titan III booster is considered as launch vehicle.
