Sources of error in radar tracking orbit determination are examined and their characteristics considered; behavior of errors is interpreted in terms of influence of their sources and nature of their propagation; emphasis of analysis is on why orbital errors behave as they do; conclusions are based on results of digital simulations with Aerospace TRACE program and General Electric Pat-B program.
