Progress made by Road Research Laboratory, Great Britain, on methods of assigning traffic to network in which journey time along each link of network increases as flow on link increases is described; speed/flow and journey-time/flow relations were analyzed; it is stated that traffic assignments can be made by method described to networks in which journey time along each link is function of flow.
