Tanker intended for carriage of lubricating oil, built by Vulcan Werk of Hamburg for Baltic-American Petroleum Co. of Danzig; constructed to Isherwood system; length b.p. 440 ft.; deadweight 11,000 tons; lubricating oil is carried in 22 compartments; there are five pump rooms, each fitted with two electrically driven centrifugal pumps; main propelling machinery consists of single-acting 7-cylinder M.A.N. Diesel of cylinder-diameter 700 mm. and stroke 1200 mm. developing 3250 b.hp. at 95 r.p.m.
