Review of developments and analysis of present position in United States, which seems to be using its great productive capacity for immediate program of fighting airplanes equal to anything known in Europe, and yet has potential ability to make obsolete all fighter airplanes in world today; this has come about by recent aerodynamic and technical progress; country is faced with old dilemma of quantity now vs quality later.
