Methods now being used in fabrication of major airplane structures by use of plastics as adhesives when structure, built up from wood veneers, is molded to shape; structures are basically wooden structures but plastics perform highly important function in "welding" them into units which are substantially unaffected by moisture, weathering and other service conditions.
