Average increase in gross revenue of 10% on 46 routes requiring 856 cars shown by recent survey to be attributable to trolley car of improved design introduced several years ago by Electric Railway Presidents' Conference Committee; quietness, higher speed, improved operating characteristics, and superior illumination, heating, and ventilation have universally attracted increased passenger traffic.
