On occasion of automatic radio compass demonstrations made on one of American Air Lines airplanes in New York and Washington, DC, and Flight Research Plane of United Air Lines, most interesting effects were noted in combined use of radio beacons and radio compasses; these effects, including direction finding observations in Rocky Mountains, are studied.
