Investigations of one-tenth scale model of penstock valve body for Sinanogawa power plant; to analyze stresses, differential equation of cylinder under action of internal pressure and longitudinal tension were first derived; effects of flanges and stiffening rings on deformation of pipe taken into account as boundary conditions of equation.
