At 55th St. near Cicero avenue in Chicago, Indiana Harbor Belt Railroad has installed all-electric interlocking with entrance-exit, "N-X," control, at track layout involving junctions and crossings with Belt Railway of Chicago; plug in, quick detachable relays, flame proof wiring, new type sheet metal instrument cases and special protection for cables, are features of modern construction on plant.
