How Michigan Bell Co solved problem of rust deterioration in its motor vehicle fleet which is composed of passenger vehicles, 30%; light work vehicles, 52%; medium work vehicles, 11%; and heavy work vehicles, 7%; study showed that environmental conditions and salt and chlorides used in highway maintenance were chief offenders; program consists of effective methods in applying specially prepared commercial compound; method of application is just as important as coating itself; recommendations made.
