Limitations of PERT (Program Evaluation Review Technique) and SCANS (Scheduling and Control by Automated Network Systems); it is proposed to reduce probability of failure through use of RITE (Rapid Information Technique for Evaluation); it differs significantly, from PERT-SCANS in its objective of identification of weapon or space system configuration; RITE system provides most valuable of all tools for programmed management, that of configuration identification and control.
