Report on papers concerned with telecommunications and control of satellite attitude in space, presented before 13th Int Astronautical Congress, held in Bulgaria Sept 23-29 1962; reference is also made to lecture given by Major Titov, and it is noted that 3 new facts are that launch vehicle for Vostoks had takeoff thrust of 1,323,000 lb (force), total of 6 engines, and 4 stages; other Russian statements have indicated that there are 3 stages; possible explanation is that Titov counted Vostok itself as distinct stage, although it was just payload of third stage.
