In improved theory, induced mean line at any radius is derived from down-wash distribution along entire chord length, and is function of loading distribution over entire blade area and blade outline; new theoretical propeller design method is programmed into computer for special case of uniform chordwise loading distribution; 2 design example are for skewed blade and symmetrical blade.
