Pressure signal can be obtained from summation of pressure fields of its 2 components as though 2 propellers operate as separate units; vibratory characteristics are superior to equivalent single propeller having number of blades of one component, delivering same thrust at same revolutions per minute; effect of forward propeller on aft is much greater than effect of aft propeller on forward propeller.
