Problems associated with separation of stores from high-speed aircraft can be studied by use of several wind-tunnel test techniques; three most useful are dynamically scaled drop-model testing, flowfield survey testing, and captive trajectory testing; description of each method is given, and data obtained are shown to approximate full-scale flight-test data within acceptable limits.
