Construction program of U S Maritime Commission involves four high pressure installations, one employing 1200 lb steam pressure and 950 F total steam temperature operating on straight Rankine cycle, and three using 1200 lb, 750 F steam with regenerative reheat cycle; details of these are given, as well as those of large number of vessels employing 450 lb, 750 F steam.
