New type of Mazda lamp developed by General Electric Co, for car lighting on New York Central Railroad; it will start on d-c line voltage of 55 and is designed to operate normally at 60 v d-c; 15-in. by 1 1/2-in. tubes used, operating directly from 64-v power supply.
