25 steel underframe cars built by Pullman-Standard Car Mfg Co placed in service by New York, New Haven and Hartford Railroad; equipped with welded superstructures of copper-bearing steel, thoroughly insulated and lined with wood, except for inside roof and inside cupola roof, which is of steel; length oa 33 ft 11 in.; light weight 43,500 lb; underframe and superstructure, interior arrangement, and trucks, draft gear and brake equipment described.
