Two new streamlined 14-car trains, for service between San Francisco, Calif, and Los Angeles, built by Pullman-Standard Car Mfg Co, to replace two 12-car trains; cars are hauled by steam locomotives; at articulated connections between cars, 6-wheel drop equalizer type trucks are applied, all other trucks being of 4-wheel triple bolster type; air brake equipment, air conditioning, and electric lighting features described.
